Empowering with Flavor
Encouraging the sustainable and integral development of communities, organizational networks, and income-generation initiatives.
Empowering with Flavor is our gastronomy training program designed for those who need to generate income, form solidarity groups, and strengthen their communities. Empowering with Flavor é a nossa iniciativa de formação em gastronomia voltada para quem precisa gerar renda, criar coletivos solidários e fortalecer suas comunidades.
It is especially aimed at women aged 18 and over from nearby communities, combining practical training, entrepreneurship support, and the strengthening of community bonds.
How It Works
In partnership with SENAC-SEBRAE, we offer practical gastronomy workshops at the AST Social Gastronomy Lab, including:
- “Million Meals”
- “Profitable Snacks”
Each workshop lasts between 4 and 6 sessions, with 4 hours per session, combining culinary techniques, financial management, pricing, marketing, and guidance on creating solidarity economy groups.
Beyond learning new techniques and recipes, participants share life experiences, expanding their learning far beyond the kitchen.
